Harry Potter
Harry Potter is known in the wizarding world as "The-Boy-Who-Lived" because he is the only person ever to survive an attack by Voldemort. He is in his 4th year at Hogwarts School. His parents were killed and he is now an orphan. But he has two great best friends, Ron and Hermione. Harry is one of the competitors in the Triwizard Tournament, even though he is not allowed to compete in it because he is too young.
Ron Weasly-Ron is Harry's best friend. He has 6 siblings, Fred, George, Bill, Ginny, Charlie and Percy. He is also in his 4th year at Hogwarts. He lives in the "Burrow"(that is what they call their house).
Hermione Granger-Hermione is also Harry's best friend. She is an only child of two muggle parents. She is reffered to as a "mudblood'. That is the worst name for muggle born kids.She is the in the same year as Harry and Ron.
Dumbledore- Dumbledore is the Headmaster of Hogwarts School. He is very protective and helpful to Harry. This year he is one of the judges for the "Triwizard Tournament", which is being held at Hogwarts school this year.
Professor Magonagle-Professor Magonagle is the head of the Gryfindor House at Hogwarts. She is one of Dumbledore's most valued teachers and head advisors at Hogwarts. She is the Deputy Headmistriss at Hogwarts.She is also of meaning and importance to Harry.
Professor Snape- Professor Snape is the head of Slytherin House at Hogwarts. He has never had a liking for Harry or any of the Gryfindors, for that matter and they have never had a liking for him. Professor Snape was once a Death Eater (one of Voldemorts followers) but Dumbledore knows that he can be trusted now and that he has abandond his old ways.
Professor Moody- Professor Moody is the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts School. He is an X-aurer (Dark Wizard catcher). He is known as Mad Eye Moody because he has one magical eye that can see through anything and everything.
Karkoroff-Karkoroff is the Headmaster of Durmstrang Academy. They are visiting Hogwarts for the Triwizard Tornament. He also, was once a Death Eater for Voldemort. He traveled to Hogwarts by means of a giant, magically enchanted ship. He is one of the judges for the Triwizard Tournament.
Madame Maxime-Madame Maxime is the Headmistriss of the Beauxbatons Academy. She is extremely and abnormally large and tall. She is most likey part giant but is very defensive and imbarrased to admit it. She traveled to Hogwarts by means of large flying horses pulling a carraige. Her horses are very odd and only drink Single Malt Whiskey. She also is one of the judges for the tournament .
Barty Crouch-Barty Crouch works for the Ministry of Magic. He is also one of the judgesfor the Triwizard Tournament. Crouch has been after the title Minister of Magic for years but hasn't claimed it yet. He has a very intreresting and unexpected past.
Barty Crouch Jr.- Barty Crouch Jr. is Barty Crouch's son. He is a Death Eater. He was sent to Azkaban (wizard prison) by his own father. He he does some crazy things to help Voldemort find Harry.
Conelious Fudge-Fudge is the Minister of Magic. He is in charge of everything that happens in the wizarding world. He won't believe that Voldemort is back when Harry tells him because he is afraid that he will get fired if anything bad happens to important people.
Cedric Digory-Cedric Digory is one of the competitors in the Triwizard Tournament. He is also from Hogwarts. He is in the Hufflepuff House. Something very shocking happens to Cedric at the end of the book.
Victor Krum-Victor Krum is also one of the competitors in the Triwizard Tournament. He is from Durmstrang. He is on the Bulgarian National Quiddich team as a seeker(Harry is also a seeker on his quiddich team.
Fluer Delacour-Fluer is the competitor in the tournament from the Beauxbatons Academy. She is very athletic but the tournament is too much for her. She ends up in last place in the tournament. She put up a good fight and went through a lot either way.
Voldemort-Voldemort is by far the most evil and dark wizard of all time. He was just a regular boy when he was young, but when he got older everything changed. He went dark, very dark. He has killed numerous people even muggles(non-magic people). He was almost destroyed by Harry 13 years ago. But he is still out to get him. Voldemort is so feared that people are afraid to say his name so they call him He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named or You-Know-Who.
